Poppy Ladies in action on 11 November

No poppy petals were drifting down beneath the Menin Gate on 11 November, due to the restauration works currently in progress, but the Ypres ‘Poppy Ladies’, Natasja Feliers and Vanessa Vandaele were able to find a more elevated alternative. They scattered hundreds of thousands of petals from the top of the Ypres Bell Tower. “A spine-tingling moment.”
